The project is the central hub for collaboration within Pibox. It brings together chats, file sharing, comments, status updates, and all other tools for creative teamwork.

In Pibox, you can create projects both within and outside a group. These projects will be displayed on the left-hand side of the interface.

How to create a project

To create a new project, follow these simple steps:

  1. Click the plus sign (+) in the upper-right corner.

  2. Select Create project from the dropdown (see the screenshot below).

  3. In the window that appears, enter a name for your project and click Create.

Done! Your project is ready to go.

Now that you know how to create projects, let’s look at what else you can do. In Pibox, you can organize projects within groups for better collaboration and structure. Check out the article "How to Create Groups" to learn more.

Meanwhile, check out all the actions you can take with your project!

Project actions

You can perform various actions on projects, similar to those available for groups, with a few additional options. To access these actions, click the three vertical dots next to the project.

Here are the available actions:

  1. Pin – Pin the project to the top for easy access.

  2. Mute – Turn off notifications for this project.

  3. Leave – Leave the project. Admins can rejoin the project at any time.

  4. Rename – Rename the project if there are any errors in the project name.

  5. Add members – Add members to the project.

  6. Copy – Create a copy of the project, including all its files. During the copying process, you can select the location where the copied project will be placed.

  7. Move – Move the project to another group of projects, or convert it from a group project to a non-group project.

  8. Delete – Permanently delete the project with no recovery option.

Note: Most actions are limited to admins. Members can use Mute, Leave, Rename, and Add members. Guests can only Mute or Leave.
