The Tasks feature in Pibox helps you organize projects, manage workflows, and stay on top of deadlines, making collaboration faster and easier.
With Tasks, you can:
Create, rename, complete, move, and delete tasks
Attach files or links to specific tasks
Use task templates for recurring workflows
Assign tasks to folders (each folder has its own independent tasks)
How to find Tasks in your files
Follow these three simple steps to find Tasks:
Go to the Files tab.
The Tasks panel will appear on the right side of the workspace.
To hide the panel, click the collapse button next to it (Arrow 3 in the image).
π‘ Note: If you donβt see the Tasks panel and you are a project member, your admin may have disabled access in the project settings.
Actions with Tasks
You can perform the following actions with tasks:
Create a task β Click the + icon next to Add new and enter a task name.
Rename a task β Hover over the task name, click it, and type the new name.
Complete a task β Click the checkmark button (see image).
Reorder tasks β Click and hold the drag handle (see image) to move a task up or down.
Delete a task β Click the three dots next to the task, then select Delete in the pop-up menu.
How to attach files or link to tasks
You can attach files or links to tasks. Hereβs how to do that:
Attaching files
Simply drag and drop the file onto the desired task.
Attaching links
Click the three dots next to the task.
Select Add link.
In the pop-up window:
Name your link (Arrow 1)
Paste the URL (Arrow 2)
Choose whether it opens in a new tab (Arrow 3)
Click Create to save the link.
How to delete an attached file or link from a task
To delete an attached file or link, click on the three dots next to the file or link and select the Delete button from the pop-up menu.
How to use task templates
Templates allow you to save a set of tasks and reuse them in future projects, which is perfect for repeated workflows. The templates feature is available in Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans.
How to save a template
Click the three dots in the upper right corner.
Select Save as template.
Name your template, then click Save.
How to load a template
Click the three dots in the upper right corner.
Select Load from template.
In the pop-up window, you can:
View all saved templates
Delete a template using the delete icon
Load a template by selecting it and clicking Load
