Playlists Overview
Playlists offer an efficient way to organize and share various media files (audio, video, images, etc.) with team members or collaborators. They are ideal for delivering content to clients or inter-department coordination. With a structured sequence for content, customizable columns, and robust metadata support, playlists ensure clear organization and an enhanced viewing experience.
How to create a playlist
If you haven’t created a playlist yet, there are several ways to do so, as outlined below:
1) To create a playlist, click the Playlists button in the top right corner of the main page. On the Playlist page, click the Create new playlist button in the center. Once created, your playlist will replace the button.
For additional playlists, simply use the New playlist button in the left sidebar.
2) The second method involves adding a file to a playlist. In the Files tab, select the file(s) you want to add, then click the Playlists button. A window will appear, allowing you to select an existing playlist or create a new one.
Playlist actions
You can perform the following actions on a playlist:
Swap playlists: Rearrange the order of the playlists by dragging and dropping them.
Rename: Change the name of the playlist.
Add files: Upload additional files to your playlist.
Add members: Invite collaborators to the playlist.
Delete a playlist: Remove the playlist from your workspace.
Lock a playlist: Prevent further edits or changes to the locked playlist.
💡 Note: The "Lock a playlist" action is only available for owners and admins.
