Follow these four simple steps to move or copy any file or folder to another project or group in Pibox.
Step 1. Select your file or folder
To move or copy a file or folder:
Locate the item you want to move or copy.
Click the ellipsis (⋯) icon next to it.
From the pop-up menu, choose Move or Copy.
Step 2. Choose the destination
A pop-up window will appear, showing all the groups and projects available to your team.
The group or project where the item currently resides will be labeled “Current group/project” and marked with a blue line on the left.
To move or copy the item elsewhere, click on the desired group or project name (in the example below, the “Pibox” group is selected).
You can also explore other available teams to move or copy files across companies.
Step 3. Select the target project
Once inside the chosen group, select the specific project you’d like to move or copy the file or folder into.
Step 4. Confirm your action
You have two options:
To move or copy directly into the selected project, click “Move/Copy here.”
To place the file into a new folder, follow these steps:
Click “New Folder.”
Enter the folder name and press Enter.
Open the new folder.
Click “Move/Copy here.”
If you’re moving or copying a file (not a folder), you can also:
Decide whether to display it in the project chat.
Choose to include any existing comments by checking the box next to “Copy with comments.”
Alternative method: drag and drop
You can also move files within the same project using drag-and-drop:
Hold down the file you want to move.
Drag it into the target folder.
Note: Drag-and-drop works only for files and folders inside the same project.
