Notifications play a key role in keeping team members connected and informed. The Pibox notifications feature is designed to keep users up to date with various events and interactions on the platform. Whether it's a new message, a file update, or a comment on a shared project, Pibox ensures that every important event triggers a notification, reducing the risk of a missed message.

Notification types

Pibox offers a variety of notification types, each tailored to specific user preferences and requirements:

  1. User join/leave team - Team join and leave notifications are important for keeping the member list up to date. When a new user joins a team, all team members can be notified about it. This allows everyone to be aware of changes in the team line-up and to welcome new members. Likewise, when someone leaves the team, the notification ensures that all relevant individuals are aware of the user leaving the team.

  2. User join/leave project - Just like team join and leave notifications, user join and leave notifications provide visibility and understanding of changes to the project team structure. When someone joins or leaves a project, notification notifies everyone on the project, making it easy to keep track of changes and update information about the composition of the project team.

  3. Mention - Mention notifications help users keep track of discussions in which they are mentioned. When a particular user is mentioned in a post or comment on a project (for example, by using the "@" symbol in front of their name), that user is notified of the mention. This makes it easier to engage in conversations and allows users to quickly respond to meaningful discussions.

  4. Chat messages - Chat message notifications provide instant updates on new chat messages or discussions. When a team member sends a chat message, other users can be notified of a new message, which ensures a continuous flow of communication and helps keep conversations moving.

  5. File uploads - File upload notifications notify users of new files added to a project or shared folder. When someone uploads a new file, team members are notified about it, keeping everyone up to date with the latest updates and new resources.

  6. Comments and replies - Comment and reply notifications ensure that discussions and dialogues don't go unnoticed. When someone leaves a comment on a file, project, or discussion, participants are notified of the new comment. The same thing happens with replies to comments. This contributes to active discussions and helps to respond to important feedback promptly.

  7. File status changes - File status notifications inform users of any changes in the state of a file. For example, if a file has been marked as completed, team members will receive a notification. This allows everyone to be aware of changes that may affect the workflow.

Personalization settings

Understanding that different users may have different preferences, Pibox offers customizable notification settings. Users can choose what types of notifications they would like to receive and how they should be notified (email, in-app, push notification, or all methods). This customization ensures that notifications are helpful, and not overwhelming.

Always in touch

The Pibox mobile app keeps you connected even on the go. Notifications seamlessly integrate into the mobile environment, allowing users to receive updates, reply to messages, and stay on top of ongoing projects, no matter where they are.
