Share your audio files using review and demo links — anytime, anywhere, and for free — with no limits or restrictions. You can share files with unlimited recipients, without worrying about user seats or extra costs. It’s the easiest way to collaborate with your team and clients, or even to share your work publicly.

Two ways to share files in Pibox

You can share a file in two ways:

  1. Review link – allows external collaborators to review and comment on your media files.

  2. Demo link – lets you securely showcase files without requiring login or registration.

Option 1: Review link

A review link is perfect for collaborators outside your company. After a quick, simplified registration, external users can:

  • Comment on audio, video, or image files just like internal users

  • See all existing comments

  • Have their feedback marked with a special “external user” badge

How to create a review link

Step 1. Click the Share button.

You can do this from the Files tab or directly inside a file.

Step 2. In the pop-up window, go to the Review link tab. Toggle the switch to enable the link.

Step 3. Customize your link settings:

  • Expiration — set when the link should expire (available on the Team plan)

  • Allow download — enable or disable file downloads

  • Allow comments — let external users leave feedback

  • Allow changing comment status — control who can mark comments as resolved

Step 4. Copy the link and share it.

When users follow the link:

  • If they’re logged in, they’ll access the shared file directly.

  • If not, they can log in or register quickly (no email verification needed).

That’s it! The file will be accessible for review and comments.

Option 2: Demo link

A demo link lets you share your file for preview only — ideal for showcasing a demo or preview version.

Step 1. In the Share window, switch to the Demo link tab.

Step 2. Turn on the demo link and adjust the settings:

  • Expiration time — choose from 1 hour, 8 hours, 1 day, or 7 days

  • Disable download — restrict file downloads for security

Step 3. Copy and send the link.

External users don’t need to log in — they can instantly preview the shared file through the demo link.
