Link expiration is one of the "Share Link" settings that allow you to set the time period during which the link will be active. After the expiration date, the link will become unavailable. This feature provides additional security, preventing unauthorized access to the link after the expiration date. You need to return to the "Share Link" settings to regain access.
The Link expiration feature is available in the Team plan.
To enable link expiration, click the "Never" button next to "Expiration" and select the amount of time the link will be valid. Selecting "Never" means the link will remain valid indefinitely.
Next, you will see the expiration date of this link.
To change or remove the expiration time on the link, click the button below.
When a link has expired, the expiration time will be written in red text in the link settings. This indicates that the link is no longer valid, and anyone who attempts to open it will receive a notification stating, "This link is expired."
To re-activate the link, click the same button used to change the expiration time and delete the set time.
